Coate Water

Here at The Sun Inn, we're very lucky indeed! The beautiful Coate Water Country Park is literally right on our doorstep.

Voted Swindon's favourite place, it features a quite stunning lake surrounded by woodlands and pathways that make it the perfect place for a leisurely stroll or more energetic run or bike ride.

There's also a model railway you can ride on, children's play areas and paddling pool, pitch & putt and crazy golf plus fishing and sailing.

That's not forgetting the swans, ducks and wildlife to admire, of course.

The museum of famous author Richard Jefferies is right next door too!

And with the Sun Inn right at the entrance, we're perfectly positioned for enjoying a drink and something to eat after a lovely day in the park.
